Two rival crow tribes scheme to ambush each other in a mountain valley, but their plan backfires when they topple a rock blocking a passage and release white settlers who had been trapped for 300 years. The grateful settlers, now freed from their long slumber, offer the crows horses as a reward for their unintended assistance. However, the crows later regret the exchange when they discover the settlers have stolen their horses and plan to raid the crow village, forcing the tribes to pursue the thieves to recover their herd.
