Prize Comics #2 is an anthology featuring multiple action and adventure stories. One story involves Ted brought before "Bluebear" Bates, head of a smuggling ring, who threatens him with execution, though Ted manages to escape his captors during a rooftop chase. Another tale follows Mike Jaxon, who battles a giant jungle cat and a cruel ruler of Tsol; Jaxon and his companion Laura James are captured and face sacrifice, but manage to fight back against the superstitious populace and their mysterious ruler. A third story features "Black Owl," a masked vigilante who uses a hidden staircase to escape police custody and ultimately provides a signed confession to help free innocent prisoners Terry and Chivery from blackmail and danger.
