Power Pack #53

Part of Marvel's 1990 "Acts of Vengeance" crossover event, this issue of Power Pack bursts with kinetic energy right on the cover by Bret Blevins — the four Pack kids are caught in the thick of a chaotic brawl, with fire erupting on both sides, a rainbow energy trail slicing through the action, and a wild-haired antagonist in fishnets looking very much in control of the situation. The title "Chinks in the Armor!" hints at vulnerabilities being tested, and with Terry Austin writing and Ernie Colón on interior art, there's real craft behind this youthful team's struggle.
