Power Pack #30

Power Pack #30 brings a striking and emotionally charged cover from pencilers Carl Potts and Jon Bogdanove, inked by Hilary Barta, as one of the white-clad Power Pack kids cradles a frail, unconscious figure in his arms against a cityscape backdrop streaked with rainbow energy. Two more Pack members — a glowing, ghostly girl and a younger blonde child — look on with visible concern in the lower left, while a large crossed-out symbol looms ominously in the background. Writer Louise Simonson and artist Val Mayerik bring their talents to "Crack-Up!", a 1987 story that promises high stakes and real heart for Marvel's young team of heroes.
