Something has clearly gone sideways for our heroes — the cover to Power Man and Iron Fist #3 (2016) shows both Luke Cage and Danny Rand flat on the ground, thoroughly beaten, while two women stand — well, one sits and one looms triumphantly — over their fallen forms. The dominant figure in red and gold tracksuit radiates confident swagger, hand raised mid-gesture, while her companion perches casually on what appears to be Danny's back with an air of cool amusement. Sanford Greene's art captures the whole scene with a bold, stylish energy perfectly matched to the series' street-level charm.
