A lone hooded figure walks away down a rain-slicked city street, passing a bus-shelter advertisement for Luke Cage and Iron Fist's "Heroes 4 Hire" service — a poster now defiantly crossed out in red paint and dripping to the ground. That single image, rendered with moody warmth by cover artist Sanford Greene, says more about the duo's standing in their neighborhood than a dozen splash pages could. Writer David Walker and Sanford Greene's 2017 series continues to find street-level storytelling at its most atmospheric.
