“Slime Street”

"Slime Street" kicks off in Power Man and Iron Fist #108 with a bizarre twist: the Gem Theatre is under siege by Firebolt, a deranged psychic who spouts movie and TV lines while blasting heat from his eyes. Written by Archie Goodwin and Jim Owsley, with art by Greg LaRocque and inks by Andy Mushynsky, the story unfolds as Luke Cage and Danny Rand team up with Firebolt’s sister Rebecca to unravel a scheme tied to a man named Loman—whose insurance payouts fuel the destruction. The cover, by Ron Wilson and Dave Simons, captures the chaos with a striking image of the burning theatre.
