Steve Skroce's post-apocalyptic vision gets grimmer and more gripping with this second issue from Image Comics. The cover — penciled and inked by Skroce and colored by Dave Stewart — puts a fierce, armored woman at its center, clutching a blade and dragging an unconscious man across a vast mound of skulls and reaching undead hands, while a massive fleshy creature looms overhead. It's a striking image that makes clear this series has no shortage of desperate survival and nightmarish scale.
