“Porky Pig and the Mark of the Gypsy Dagger”

In "Porky Pig and the Mark of the Gypsy Dagger," a sunburn shaped like a dagger—caused by a prank from Cicero—leads Porky and Sylvester into a mysterious gypsy carnival where an ancient legend ties the mark to a throne. With the Black Circle scheming to seize power, the duo finds themselves caught in a wild adventure far beyond their usual antics. Tony Strobl handles all interior art and lettering, with the cover also drawn and inked by him.

After Cicero cuts a dagger-shaped hole in Porky's sunshade, Porky gets a dagger-shaped sunburn on his head. When he and Sylvester go to a gypsy carnival, they find the dagger mark is the subject of an old legend. That leads them to get embroiled in trying to foil a plot by the Black Circle to seize the gypsy king's throne.
