Babe and Blackie burn a house to destroy any evidence they left. The swag, a wrist-watch, is peanuts. Mike the fence heps them to bigger things: Senator Harriman's stamp collection. They and a third man go there. With a crowbar Babe kills the butler who surprised them. They burn the place, absconding with the collection and a thousand three-cent stamps. A clerk calls headquarters when Babe tries to sell some of the stamps Mike had refused. Fingerprints lead to Mike, and the entire crew of boys and fence are taken. Criminals always slip up. Crime doesn't pay.
