This anthology issue contains two main stories. "Big Failure" follows Detective Doyle as he attempts to track down a criminal named Ellis, only to discover Ellis is a hood and that his investigation has been a failure, forcing police to pursue the suspects with no safe place for them to hide. "Policeman's Holiday" features an officer whose spring vacation is interrupted when he is assigned to work undercover at a circus, where he must identify a masked gang of robbers by tracking a laundry mark on a handkerchief found at one of their crime scenes.
