“Chapter Fifteen”

Poison Ivy faces an overwhelming threat in issue #15 of her Dawn of DC solo series, and Jessica Fong's cover makes the stakes feel visceral — a fiery-haired Ivy lunges forward through swirling green energy while an enormous, monstrous plant-and-flesh creature looms behind her, studded with what appear to be clusters of red fungi or berries. The bold tagline "Bonnie and Croc!" hints at a pairing between Ivy and the reptilian Killer Croc that the cover's tension frames with genuine menace. G. Willow Wilson, Marcio Takara, and Arif Prianto continue their run here, making this an intriguing chapter in one of DC's more compelling 2023 titles.
