Two couples go on a hiking holiday in Exmoor. As June is using some stepping stones to cross a stream, she slips and is knocked unconscious. The guys carry her to an large, abandoned house with no working phone. As the snow falls, they are trapped there for several days. Then burglars break into the house, thinking it empty, but are stopped and captured by the guys. The police arrive and when things are sorted out, the home owners present the couples a cheque for £500 since they would have lost many valuables without their presence at the house.
