Plastic Man #2

Kyle Baker's cartoony genius is on full display here — the cover shows a grinning red getaway car (license plate "PLAS 1," a dead giveaway) carrying a trio of bumbling crooks, one of whom clutches a money bag while another fires a gun, all while one shouts "Okay, Whiskers! We got the loot! Drive us outta here!" It's a wonderfully sly setup for "Chapter 2, Rubber the Wrong Way," hinting that the getaway car itself may be more than it appears. Baker's rubber-limbed humor and clean, animated style make this 2004 DC series a genuine treat.
