Plastic Man #10
Kyle Baker's animated, rubber-limbed style is on full display as two identically red-suited figures — both clearly Plastic Man — face off in an intense arm-wrestling match across a simple table, one pair of goggled eyes glaring at the other. It's a delightfully absurd premise that only Plas could pull off, and the story title "Easy to Chew, but Hard to Swallow!" promises the same brand of gleeful, self-aware humor Baker brings to every page. Issue #10 of this 2004 series is a treat for anyone who appreciates superhero comedy with a sharp artistic wit.
