Michelle dumps her boyfriend Derek because of his poor economic circumstances. He reveals he's working on a time machine. Derek visits NASA and explains he has invented a time machine in order to rescue the missing astronauts: Taylor, Dodge, Landon and Stewart. Derek is laughed out of the building. Derek returns home and uses the time machine and travels several thousand years in the future.
