“Heavy Mental Music!”

In "Heavy Mental Music!", Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham, hits the concert scene at an Ozzy Ostrich show, where the music’s as wild as the crowd—especially when Ozzy takes a bite out of a chocolate bunny. With a hypnotic guitar and a mob in a frenzy, Spider-Ham’s got his work cut out, but even the most absurd chaos can’t shake his earplugs. Written by Mike Carlin and illustrated by Joe Albelo, with colors by Julianna Ferriter and letters by Janice Chiang, this 1987 issue delivers a quirky, beat-driven adventure with a cover by Joe Albelo.

At an Ozzy Ostrich concert, the interns love the music, but Peter doesn't; all are impressed when Ozzy bites the head off a chocolate bunny. Spider-Ham fights Ozzy, but leaves when it turns out there was no crime. Ozzy's new guitar hypnotizes the crowd, but Peter has cotton in his ears. Fighting the crowd, he puts cotton in their ears, and Ozzy stops the Pawn Broker.
