Peter Parker: Spider-Man #6
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this June 1999 issue says it all — a massive, grimacing Kingpin fills the frame, his enormous fists clenching Spider-Man's tattered costume as the web-slinger dangles helplessly before him, the bold tagline "Enter: Kingpin / Exit: Spidey!" making the stakes crystal clear. John Byrne's pencils and Scott Hanna's inks give the image a raw, imposing energy, with Kingpin's sheer physical dominance rendered in striking detail. Howard Mackie and John Romita Jr. bring their talents to the interior of this one, and if the cover is any indication, Peter Parker is in for a genuinely rough time.
