Peter Parker and Miles Morales find themselves bound and suspended — literally dangling over a crowd of thoroughly unhappy Spider-Man villains, with a massive, mysterious orb looming above them and a towering, cloaked figure's hands reaching in from the edges of the frame. Gurihiru's cover art gives the whole scene a wonderfully stylized, almost storybook quality that makes the duo's predicament feel both genuinely tense and a little delightful. With Tamaki and Ayala at the helm, this 2023 Marvel series continues to explore what happens when two Spider-Men are very much in the wrong place at the wrong time — together.
