This March 1949 issue of Pep Comics captures a perfectly charming bit of teen mischief: Archie leans out a window with Veronica, telling her the rain means she'll have to stay longer — while outside, a soaking-wet Jughead gets blasted by a garden hose. Al Fagaly's cover art plays the comic timing beautifully, with the brick-wall framing giving the whole scene a cozy, neighborhood feel. Inside, Bill Vigoda brings the fun to "My Diary," making this a delightful slice of mid-century Riverdale life at a dime a copy.
