Pep Comics #113
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeArchie takes art class in stride — and all over everyone nearby — in this January 1956 issue of Pep. The cover, drawn by Bill Vigoda, unfolds across four panels: Archie sloshing paint on a classmate, getting scolded for his mess by a teacher, grinning broadly at his own two-part talent for "painting and making a mess," and finally standing puzzled beside a dark-haired girl as she questions his finished canvas. It's a cheerful slice of Riverdale chaos that sets up the interior story "Gilt by Association" with exactly the kind of good-natured trouble Archie does best.
