This 1982 issue of Pep captures the easygoing charm of Riverdale perfectly, with Dan DeCarlo's cover pencils and inks framing Betty, Archie, and Reggie in a lively school-locker scene — Betty quipping that a locker should reflect one's personality, while Archie cheekily points out that Reggie's certainly does. A superhero vignette floats in the upper corner, and smaller glimpses of the Riverdale gang fill out the bright, energetic composition.
