This July 1973 issue of Pep delivers the kind of cheerful domestic chaos the Archie gang does best — Betty is enthusiastically shampooing Archie's sudsy hair at the kitchen sink, while a sharp-tongued Veronica stands cross-armed in the background, shooting back, "No thanks, Betty! You're already in my hair!" In the background, two onlookers can barely contain their amusement at the whole scene. With cover inks by Jon D'Agostino and the full Riverdale crew peering down from the masthead, this is a warm, witty snapshot of the eternal Betty-Veronica-Archie dynamic at its most playfully bickering best.
