Archie's latest "invention" — an electric harmonica — goes about as well as you'd expect in this cheerful 1968 Archie Series gem. The cover, penciled by Dan DeCarlo, tells the whole story in two panels: Archie proudly plugs in his creation before The Archies band, then gets spectacularly zapped in a burst of crackling electricity while his bandmates look on with knowing grins. It's the kind of breezy, laugh-out-loud Riverdale humor that made Pep a delight, all for just 12 cents.
