“Well-Pested”

In "Well-Pested," Betty and Veronica trade their usual high school antics for a grueling stint at a cheerleading school, drawn by the thrill of being surrounded by athletic males. Despite their obvious talent, Miss Grundy and Coach Kleats are quick to overlook them in favor of Big Ethel, leaving the girls determined to prove their worth—though not quite how they expected. Written and illustrated by Al Hartley, with inks by Mario Acquaviva and letters by Bill Yoshida, the issue features a cover by Dan DeCarlo and Rudy Lapick.
