A drive-in movie night takes center stage on this June 1966 cover, penciled by Dan DeCarlo and inked by Marty Epp, as Archie and his friends watch a James Bond-style 007 action film — complete with a shirtless hero, explosions, a red helicopter, and a villain in pink on the big screen. From the front seat of a red convertible, a red-haired girl quips about 007's dangerous situations while a dark-haired fellow beside a blonde deadpans that the real danger is all the kissing. The Riverdale gang crowded along the title banner up top adds an extra dash of cheerful chaos to what looks like a thoroughly fun issue.
