Pep #178

The cover says it all — a green sofa rigged with a massive spring has launched an unsuspecting young man clean through the front door and into the night sky, while a woman in blue quips that she got the idea from airplane seat ejectors, much to the shock of the man behind her and the wide-eyed dark-haired girl still seated on the couch. It's the kind of absurd, perfectly timed Riverdale mischief that made Pep a staple of 1965 spinner racks, and "Rival Libel" promises more of the same humor inside.
