Pep #162
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA perfectly sunny 1963 snapshot of Riverdale life, this Samm Schwartz cover captures Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Reggie lounging on some school steps, sharing peanuts and trading quips — Archie's deadpan crack about his allowance being "also peanuts" sets the tone beautifully. Frank Doyle scripts and Dan DeCarlo pencils the interior alongside inker Rudy Lapick and letterer Vincent DeCarlo, a creative lineup that always delivered sharp, character-driven fun. Pep #162 is a charming slice of early-'60s Archie Comics at its most relaxed and witty.
