Trapped and forced to perform as "The Masked Beauty" at Shanghai Jake’s seedy waterfront club, she sings for a crowd of lonely sailor mice—only to see them vanish through a trap door into the Claw Gang’s waiting jaws. Art by Connie Rasinski brings the zany menace and slapstick peril to life in this 1951 St. John classic.
In "Magpie Madness," Heckle and Jeckle tackle the city’s sudden crime wave using a wild invention: Liquid Magnetism, a bizarre substance brewed from Heckle’s birthday chemistry set. With their usual mix of chaos and cleverness, the duo turns the tide—though just how they pull it off is pure cartoon magic.
In a whimsical nod to old-world chivalry, Sourpuss tries to impress a female cat by offering his coat as a makeshift bridge over a puddle—classic gentlemanly gesture, or so he thinks. But in this world of shifting manners, his noble act lands him in a very modern kind of trouble.
In "Mystery on the Waterfront," the Claw’s latest scheme takes a sly turn when he steals Mighty Mouse’s autograph to lure Mitzi into a trap. Now forced to perform as "The Masked Beauty" at Shanghai Jake’s seedy waterfront club, she sings for a crowd of lonely sailor mice—each one a potential victim, dropped through a trap door into the Claw Gang’s waiting jaws.
In "The Picnic Stowaway," Dinky tries every trick in the book to win Rudy’s favor after being left out of the Rooster family picnic—offering help, pretending to be helpful, and even trying to be a good sport. But with Rudy’s stubbornness and Dinky’s growing desperation, the line between helpfulness and harassment starts to blur in this classic Terrytoon comedy.
