The second volume of Christophe Bec and Stefano Raffaele's Pandemonium series opens with a deeply unsettling cover: a small, lone child stands at the far end of a dim, decaying corridor, bathed in an eerie golden light that only deepens the surrounding darkness. A sinister mechanical or industrial object looms overhead in the foreground, amplifying the sense of dread that radiates from every shadow. "Le Tunnel" promises a haunting descent into claustrophobic terror, and this 2008 Soleil release makes that threat felt before you've even turned the first page.
