Outsiders #37

This August 2006 issue of Outsiders kicks off the "Silver and Grey" arc with a cover that demands attention: a hulking, red-capped gorilla draped in ammunition belts cradles a jar containing a preserved brain while a ring of fire blazes behind him. The story title "Brain Feud" blazes across the image, making the threat feel both visceral and darkly absurd. Daniel Acuña's cover art gives the whole thing a moody intensity that sets a compelling tone for whatever the Outsiders are about to face.
