Outsiders #13

The Fearsome Five are back, and Tom Raney's cover for Outsiders #13 (August 2004) makes their return feel genuinely menacing — five villains posed across a fire escape, from the elegantly adorned woman in gold and white on the left, to the skull-headed figure in teal, a large imposing brute looming above, a leather-clad woman in blue, and a grinning, goggled figure dangling at the front wreathed in flame. Writer Judd Winick kicks off "Five by Five Part One: New Business," promising the kind of sharp ensemble storytelling this series does well. If you've been following the Outsiders, this is exactly the escalation you've been waiting for.
