An anthology issue featuring two stories. The opening story "Outlaws of the West" shows Pruit, a traveling outlaw, arriving at the town of Peaceful Junction where he encounters Hooker and attempts to involve him in a scheme to steal gold, though Hooker resists the temptation to join the outlaws. The second story, "The Prince Albert Kid in Desert Danger," follows U.S. Marshall John Campbell as he investigates the Desert Gang's trail across the American Desert after they rob a train carrying thirty thousand dollars in gold bars; the Prince Albert Kid appears in town wearing his distinctive long coat, claiming the gang has already been caught, but the Marshall remains skeptical of the explanation.
