This anthology issue contains multiple stories. "El Diamonte" features a Mexican outlaw on horseback declaring his escape to the south of the border while threatening hanging for those who pursue him. A separate story depicts a newspaper office in crisis as staff scramble to acquire a new typesetter to increase printing, leading to business negotiations and a scheme to prevent the sale of the paper. "Dynamite for Boss Cavitt" presents a political narrative where a candidate named Mark Warner uses dynamite against Boss Cavitt's political machine, resulting in an explosion that nearly kills Warner but destroys the corrupt political establishment, with plans for Warner's mayoral election following his recovery.
