Outlaws #6 is an anthology of Western stories. "River of Gold" follows a prospector and his companions struggling to find water while digging for gold in the desert, only to discover someone is mysteriously filling in their holes at night. "Man to Man" features Sheriff Tom Winston and scout Gil Gibson debating how to handle a Sioux conflict blocking railroad construction, with Gibson eventually gaining Winston's trust to attempt a peaceful resolution. "Gold City" depicts the investigation into Uncle Sam Hardy's murder, culminating in a bank robbery and explosion in the town of Gold City.
