"From the Bottom of the Well" follows John and Frances Craig's summer vacation in a New England town, where they encounter a supernatural terror emerging from an old well. When a woman crawls from the well with her throat torn open, John suspects his brother Paul of being a werewolf responsible for the attack. As the mystery deepens, John ventures into the jungle to document specimens for a museum, where he discovers a native woman named Tiana and encounters the werewolf creature, which he believes to be his transformed brother Paul.
