"Out of the Night" #10 is an anthology featuring three supernatural tales. "Out of the Night" opens with a skeleton in a captain's hat threatening swimmers from a ship, relating to a mysterious vessel called the "Ship of Death." "The Reluctant Witch" follows a man who discovers an apt pupil—a young woman—to teach witchcraft to, with supernatural consequences involving a kidnapping and a watchdog. "Pal Ghost" tells of Tommy Adams Jr. and his dog's encounter with the ghost of a boy and dog, where the ghostly boy's spirit helps stop kidnappers by using a ransom exchange at a house, but the real watchdog defeats the criminals. The final story, partially visible, depicts a man named John Wilson who escaped from Hades and attempts to return to the living world through a mine shaft before his spirit is recaptured.
