“Eat, Eat, Eat!”

In "Eat, Eat, Eat!", Dave Sim crafts a chilling winter tale of isolation and deception, where a boy lost in the Yukon is guided by a spectral figure that isn't his father. As the Walker of the Snows draws John deeper into the frozen wilderness, the line between memory and menace blurs in this haunting, atmospheric story. The cover by Gene Day captures the eerie stillness of the snow-laden landscape, setting a tone of quiet dread.

John is lost in the snow outside of Dawson City, Yukon. His father appears to him to lead him home, but instead takes John further from civilization. His "father" proves to be the Walker of the Snows, a supernatural creature who lures its victims into the wild to kill them. John dies and his remains are covered up the snow.
