Our Gang Comics #21

This January 1946 Dell issue brings the beloved Our Gang gang back for more neighborhood mischief, with a cover by Walt Kelly that perfectly captures the series' playful spirit. Two kids are the stars of the scene — one wide-eyed with astonishment, the other studiously consulting a book titled Magic Made Easy — as an impressive number of rabbits spill out of a top hat on a wooden crate, suggesting their magic trick has gone wonderfully, hilariously right. Carl Barks handles the interior, contributing his reliable storytelling craft to "Barney Goes Skiing" and the rest of the issue's fun.
