Our Fighting Forces #62

The cover by Jerry Grandenetti announces that Gunner & Sarge are "joined in a startling mission" by this fearless canine, dubbed "The Flying Pooch," and the sheer energy of the scene makes it easy to see why DC's war line had such devoted readers. Robert Kanigher's storytelling and Grandenetti's art made Our Fighting Forces a dependable home for imaginative battlefield adventures, and this issue looks like a fine example of both.
