☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeIn "An Egg for Sarge!", Sarge's frustration with endless k-rations reaches a boiling point—literally—when he starts firing at his own rations. Determined to find real food, he and Gunner launch a mission that leads them through a series of increasingly absurd culinary misadventures, from fish heads to rice, before culminating in a surprisingly explosive twist. Written by Robert Kanigher and brought to life with sharp, expressive art by Jerry Grandenetti (pencils and inks), this 1960 DC classic delivers wartime humor with a side of suspense, all capped by a cover by Grandenetti that perfectly captures the absurdity.
