Luis Dominguez's cover delivers an urgent scene: the squad crammed into a small raft on churning seas, one soldier raising a submachine gun skyward as a German aircraft trails fire and smoke directly toward them — someone shouts that they winged it, but now it's coming down right on top of them. It's exactly the kind of desperate, no-good-options situation that made The Losers one of DC's most compelling combat teams, with interior work from writer Robert Kanigher and artist Ric Estrada inked by George Evans.
