The Losers — Capt. Storm, Johnny Cloud, Gunner & Sarge — are back in this December 1972 DC war title, and Joe Kubert's cover sets the tension immediately: two of the squad press themselves against a wall, weapons drawn, watching a Nazi staff car bearing a swastika emblem roll through a crowd-lined street, a figure in enemy uniform riding openly in the back seat. The speech bubble cuts right to the heart of it — "What's one of us Losers doin' with that Nazi?" — with a German tank looming ominously in the background above the chaos. Sam Glanzman handles the full interior on "Lost...One Loser!", making this a solidly crafted single-creator issue wrapped in one of Kubert's most gripping wartime cover compositions.
