Part of Marvel's 2014 Original Sin event, this third chapter of Hulk vs. Iron Man sports a striking cover by J. G. Jones that arranges the Hulk — muscles coiled, expression furious — against a halftone-dotted silhouette, surrounded by four circular vignettes hinting at past events: a can of Winston whiskey from Canada, a figure caught in an explosion, a person gripping their head in anguish, and a mysterious device. The retro-collage design gives the whole thing a forensic, evidence-board quality that perfectly suits a story rooted in secrets and buried history. With Mark Waid and Kieron Gillen co-writing and Mark Bagley on interior art, this is a sharp creative lineup delivering on the tension the cover promises.
