The cover by Julian Totino Tedesco frames a gripping mystery right from issue one: a massive, pale figure — Uatu the Watcher — looms ghost-like above the scene while Captain America, Thor, the Thing, Black Widow, Spider-Man, and a white-suited figure stand gathered around a fallen body on the moon's surface, the tagline "Who Shot the Watcher?" burning across the bottom. Jason Aaron, Mike Deodato, and Frank Martin kick off this eight-part Marvel event with a whodunit premise that pulls together some of the Marvel Universe's heaviest hitters. It's a bold, atmospheric opener that earns its place as chapter one of eight.
