The Avengers, Fantastic Four and villains of the Heroes Reborn world stage an all-out onslaught on Onslaught. He is defeated and trapped in the Negative Zone but Bucky is swept along with him and is considered dead. Franklin is returned to his own world where he is reunited with his parents. Unbeknownst to her comrades, Bucky also makes it to the regular Marvel Universe where she learns of the death of her mentor, Captain America.
