Andrea Sorrentino's artwork — rendered in a moody palette of deep reds and burnished golds — gives the image a reflective, almost elegiac weight that suits this battle-worn version of the character perfectly. Collecting the fifth volume of Jeff Lemire's run for Panini France's Marvel Now! line, this handsome edition is a fine showcase for Sorrentino and colorist Marcelo Maiolo's beautifully atmospheric collaboration.
