Old Man Logan #3

A weathered Logan — battered coat, wide-brimmed hat, and adamantium claws fully extended — stands atop a massive pile of defeated armored figures, backlit by a blazing golden sky that makes the whole scene feel equal parts triumphant and haunted. Andrea Sorrentino's cover work, colored beautifully by Marcelo Maiolo, gives this Secret Wars tie-in a cinematic weight that's hard to shake. Issue #3 of Brian Michael Bendis's run arrives with the quiet intensity this scarred, older version of Logan carries so well.
