The five-issue mini-series wraps up with a cover by Amanda Conner that says it all: an aged, grinning Joker looms enormous in the background, his massive hands reaching forward, while a determined older Harley Quinn stands her ground in the foreground, her split blue-and-pink face paint still sharp even after all these years. That tagline — "The Geriatric Joker!" — sets a tone that's equal parts darkly funny and genuinely tense, perfectly in keeping with the series' whole premise. Frank Tieri, Inaki Miranda, Tom Derenick, and Eva de la Cruz bring this future-set DC Universe story to its close in 2019 with style to spare.
