Oklahoma Kid #1

This issue contains two stories. "Manhunt" follows the Prince Albert Kid as he arrives at a ranch to investigate the death of Curly Wilson, a cowboy who was allegedly killed in a horse accident. Through detective work examining Curly's saddle, the Kid discovers evidence of murder and identifies the true killer among the ranch hands. The second story, "Pay or Perish!", depicts a conflict over a threatened water hole on the sun-baked plateau, where Native American tribes demand payment from settlers and cattlemen for access to the vital water source, leading to armed confrontation.
